Ice caps are melting. Animals are dying, sea levels are rising. Wildlife are fighting for survival and there is limited time to do anything about it. It is factual knowledge that humans are responsible for the effects of global warming due to the prolonged use of harmful gases that is affecting our ozone layer. Our levels of greenhouse gases is higher now than it has been any time in the last 800,000 years.
What does this mean? This means that the earth is heating up. The terrains that are supposed to be able to withstand the cold temperatures are being interfered with. The hotter the earth gets, the faster the melting process takes over. Animals living in these terrains are struggling to adapt to these rapid changes, as it can takes hundreds of years - but these animals have a matter of months before they lose their home. As the ice and ground breaks up, animals such as penguins and polar bears are being forced to leave and some die before they get the chance to save themselves. They are not primarily water based animals, and it is killing their species.
Though we are helping with less consumption of greenhouse gases in factories, and are becoming more environmentally friendly as a community, we should not stop. We run the risk of never seeing these majestic animals again, and all we can do is our best to stop this from becoming reality. It's not too late. Do your part, save the world.
